Awesome T20 and T30 Wireless Earbuds by Tranya
I have had lots of earbuds and while some were bad, some were just ok, and a few were very good. I understand it’s a crowded marketplace and building high quality at a low or reasonable cost can be difficult. And that’s why almost every single earbud I have tried has had at least one problem or function that I didn’t like.
In the case of the Apple Airpods, they work very well (for iPhones, not Android) but they are ridiculously expensive. From a sound quality perspective, most consider them the gold standard. Much to my surprise, I think I’ve found a pair that tops them in sound quality but costs less than 1/3 the price.
I previously owned a pair of Tranya Earbuds and liked them very much. Unfortunately, someone else got to enjoy them after I left them on a restaurant table after lunch and they were gone in under a minute. So, I set out to get a new Tranya pair and decided to get both the compact T20 and the regular size T30. I never had much luck with the smaller type with no tail – poor sound quality and worse audio quality while on a call. But I very much wanted to have that smaller look when out on a date or in a business meeting.
Let’s Put Them to Work
Both units arrived in similar, clean packaging with only the graphics on the front as different to reflect the different models. I had to take a business call, so I decide to open immediately fire up the T20’s and see if audio quality was any good. Pairing was super simple, just take out he buds from the sleek case and they start to pair with your phone. Connection to a Samsung Galaxy S22 took under 10 seconds. Sound quality on the call was loud and clear, even at medium volume setting, and I repeatedly asked the other two people on the conference call how my sound quality was and they both answered that is was perfect.
The T20’s fit snug and comfortably in my ear with the default ear rubbers. I very much like that they make the box a keeper and the other size ear rubbers they offer are not lose in a bag. They are stored neatly in the box for both the T20 and the T30. I also appreciate that the charging/storage cases for both units are small and as flat as possible. I have had other earbuds that when you put the case in your pocket, it bulges.
Overall sound quality on the T20’s has been very good. Dynamic range is very good for a unit of it’s size and battery life has gotten me through all day. Recharging is easy and it is appreciated that the case takes an Android-standard USB-C charging cable (included). I have never been a fan of these smaller buds, but I think the Tranya T20 is going to be my sleek, go-to pair when I need to be more discrete with my ear piece.
T20 Final Scoring: 4.5 out of 5 stars

Th •e next day I charged up the more standard size T-30 and headed out to my run to the gym. Let me start by saying sound quality from these unit are simply the best I have experienced. Great dynamic ranges, no discernable distortion, even at high volume, strong bass and crystal clear sound quality. The fit for me was perfect out of the box and they are very comfortable.
During my run outside, other earbuds have skipped. These were rock solid with connection, even with the phone in my back pocket. In the gym, I placed my phone in a holder in center of the gym. The T30’s maintained steady connection to the ends of the gym. That’s about 60ft from the phone. The tail on these buds connects at an angle to the part that goes in your ear and the result is a very snug and comfortable fit. They did not come out of my ears during a 45 minute high intensity workout.
The next day, I put in the T30’s and spent about 8 hours on the phone and they were still going when I called it quits. But the real story is the amazing sound quality out of the T30’s. It’s the reason to make them your #1 pair of wireless earbuds.
T30 Final Scoring: 5 out of 5 stars

So what else is there to like about the T20 and the T30? How about IPX7 waterproofing, and 10 mins of charge gives your several hours more of use.
And since no unit is perfect, places where I think thinks could improve are in the quality of the charging case. The door seems a little flimsy, the plastics are not deluxe, and the T20 is tricky to grab out of the case because it is slippery and small. Small complaints but nevertheless areas to improve.
Overall these units are quality pieces of Tranya hardware that are going to dazzle your ears with high quality sound, simple functionality and spare your wallet Apple’s ridiculous pricing. Both the T20 and T30 are highly recommended.
