I Found My New Favorite Wireless Earbuds – Tranya Rimor
I have many pairs of wireless headphones, and was never happy enough with their sound quality or the connectivity to my phone to not stuff them in a drawer – only to find them years later when it was time to move. So, I was skeptical when I was asked to try out these new Tranya Rimor Wireless Headphones. But after using them, I am a believer.
Let’s start with what’s in the box. Attractive outside packaging but standard styrofoam cutouts inside. No very lux but functional and compact. There’s some fun stickers, which I always toss out and a register your product card to get +3 months in addition to the standard 12 months warranty.
What is definitely awesome, is the charging case / carrier. It’s made of a soft lux plastic material and it’s small – small enough to go in my pocket and not feel a big lump. And they get a big plus for the USB-C charging port (same as most every phone today , unlike most every other product with a standard SB Mini – and they give you a high quality 20 inch cable. The buds came without a charge and full charging first time took about 90 minutes from my computer USB port. The charging case shows 4 lights when fully charged but goes out after the charge. You have to open and close the case to see the charge level again.
Pairing was easy as apple pie: Put the earbuds in your ears and look for the device “Rimor” in my Android’s BT settings. The fit in my ears was perfect and I did some jumping jacks and they did not fall out! I also tested Bluetooth range and got clear sound quality 2 rooms away in my house. That’s impressive. And I get no skips or static as I walk around.
Now onto sound quality, the real reason we use earbuds or toss them in the drawer. Tone quality is consistent and true. I wish the bass was a little deeper, but the high and mid ranges are very good. Sound balance was very equal and that’s super critical – when one side is louder than the other that causes the drawer toss too.
Voice quality on calls is good, with few complaints from the other side of the calls I have made. I was able to make calls in light windy environments but when the wind kicked up there was some feedback. Noise cancelling is excellent and when music is playing, that’s all you hear.
Final Scoring: 4.5 out of 5 stars
Charging & Storage: 4 out of 5 stars
Music Sound Quality: 4.5 out of 5 stars
Telephone Use Quality: 3 out of 5 stars
Ergonomics: 5 out of 5 stars
Value: 5 out of 5 stars
Tranya Rimor Wireless Headphones have become my goto pair of earbuds. I am enjoying using them every day and when you consider price vs performance they may be the best I’ve used.
